Acne

Q. What products can I choose for my acnes?

A. 1.You should use good cleansers and toners which contain AHA ,BHA as exfoliants .

2. You can ask for professional help. i.e. prescribed Antibiotics- benzomycin clindamycin, Retin A, Acutane, Tetracycline ect. oral contraceptive also can be considered for female patients

3.   Microdermabration, IPL also help the acnes

 

Anti-Aging

Q. For anti-aging products, what are the products you advise for my aging skin ?

A. Actually, with new technology, many " Serum" or "Liquid" anti-aging products such collagen, copper, hyaluronic acid , Super Vit E(astaxanthin), Vit C, Retinol are popular for anti-aging skin.. The advantage is that serums are easy to absorb, and will not clog skin pores. Also you can consider DMAE,Matrixyl, Lyne-tox etc.

 

Dry skin

Q. My skin seems to be dry in the morning, especially when I stay in air conditioned room. Is there anything else I might need?

A. You can use some liquid moisturizers every four to six hours. Just apply on top of your skin when you are in your office or whenever your skin is dry

DMAE Cream

Q. I like DMAE cream; it can firm my skin . But the DMAE cream is thick, and not easy to spread; what can I do?

A.You can use some liquid (moisturizer) to help you spread it on skin. Actually, we should apply a THIN LAYER of any kind of skin care products on the skin. Using too much is not good. DMAE is excellent for anti-aging and it can shine and firm skin texture.

Q. What is best for my pigments and dark spots on face?

A. You can buy Hydroquinone 4% Kojic acid-8 % with prescription . Or over the counter creams containing Arbutin vitamin C ,Licorice.

You can also ask for professional help. i.e. Acid Peeling, Nutrition Transduction, Microdermabration, Laser, IPL etc.

 

Retinol

Q. My skin peels a little after I use Retinol , why?

A. If your skin peels a little, it is due to increasing turn-over rate of skin cells. Retinol user may have this reaction in the beginning.

 

 

Q After I use Retinol , I found redness as skin reaction. It's not so bad. But, still, should I continue using them?

A. If the redness disappears within about half an hour after you use it, it is OK to continue. If it is red the whole day, you should stop for 2-3 days. Then start again in a smaller amount.

2.When you start to re-use it. You will do carefully by only once a day of retinol . i.e. use at night only ( Start with TEST SPOT only and a VERY THIN LAYER). until your skin is used to it. Some people get used to it after two weeks.

Then you can go back to use it two times a day.

 

Wrinkle

Q. I have lots of wrinkles under my eyes, is there anything I can use to help reducing them?

A. 1.Wrinkle treatment: You can use Retin A/ Retinol ,Copper, Collagen, Astaxanthin (Super Vitamin E), Vitamin C, Collagen. In our web site . You can order these products. I also suggest you use moisturizer /hyaluronic acid . You can use lyne-tox too because it can relax your muscle and smoothen wrinkles.
